Jet

Set in 1889-91.  Jet is the 26 year old son of a wealthy English Lord.  Content to live his life in godless dissolution, he finds God is not so easily ignored when bold young Salvation Army Major named Bertha Smith is consistently placed in his path.  Through their battle of wills and words he finds himself drawn into her community.  But when Jet's best friend finds out about their relationship, he swears he will stop at nothing to split them apart and bring Jet back into the fold of sin and addiction, not even the most vile betrayal.
